Conditions of Use
The User acknowledges that, by accepting these Conditions of Use, access to the system is granted solely to facilitate the self‑exclusion from gambling of individuals who have formally requested it. Personal information within the system may be used only for this purpose, must be treated as confidential, and any other use is strictly prohibited. Any misuse of personal information shall constitute a material breach of system use and will be regarded as a breach of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (as amended). Such a breach may result in criminal penalties (including fines of up to R10 million or imprisonment of up to 10 years), civil liability, and administrative fines of up to R10 million. In addition, the South African Responsible Gambling Foundation reserves the right to institute legal proceedings and/or seek such relief as it deems necessary for any such breach.
